Library Books
Students attended our last library of the year today. They should have come home with two books. One is our usual library check out that needs to be returned on Tuesday. The other is a book from Ms. Doro that she gifted to each student. It is a book for them to keep and enjoy at home.
Play Practice
The grade ones have brought home their drama scripts. Please take the next few days to practise reading. We are working on learning words and deciding on how our animals should sound when they speak. We will start working on our play as a class on Monday.

Sunblock - Students should come to school with sunblock already applied. Students can re-apply throughout the day if needed.
Hats - There is not a lot of shade on the yard. Students are encouraged to bring in hats for recesses and outdoor learning.

Book Report Update
This week, we have been working on a book report together as a class. The students helped me complete a book report on, "My Mouth is a Volcano". Here are a few pictures to show an example of a final product.
I am now practising my presentation with the help of my grade one friends to give me tickled pinks (things I am doing well) and green to grows (things I need to improve on) from our oral presentation checklist.
